Fidan Huseynova is a secondary school student based in Baku, Azerbaijan. She has a wide spectrum of interests, covering areas of art, music, entrepreneurship, marketing and psychology. From performing in front of a 50,000+ crowd to studying to becoming an entrepreneur in the future, Fidan is committed towards becoming the best version of herself. 

Growing up, Fidan has always been active in the creative community. At the age of four, Fidan began drawing and her paintings were published in “Azerbaijani Children's Fine Art" Book. It was one of her most memorable experiences as it planted the seed for her multi-dimensional artistic expression in the future, and laid the foundation for her success in the music industry.

At the age of eight, Fidan burst onto the music scene when she performed a magnificent song “Je Suis Malade” with a famous french singer Lara Fabian. She started taking vocal lessons and graduated from musical school named after Tofiq Guliyev with a Red Diploma. Fidan performed “Tell Me Why” and amazed participants in “The 7th Global Forum of the UN Alliance of Civilizations” concert. She performed the National Anthem of Azerbaijan in the video which was prepared by ASAN Volunteers regarding changes introduced to the Constitution of Azerbaijan to support “Growth, Stability and Yes For Bright Future”. In 2016, Fidan was awarded with special scholarship and her name was added to the “Golden Book” of Young Talents by Order of the President of Azerbaijan Republic Mr. Ilham Aliyev. Since then she placed first in the International Art Festival in Italy and placed third in “Sanremo Junior” music contest. One of her greatest achievements was getting selected to participate in the “Junior Eurovision” Song Contest where she performed the song written by herself called “I Wanna Be Like You”. Fidan played the lead role “Moana” in the musical hosted by the International School of Azerbaijan. To add to her credentials, she has also won multiple chess championships organized by “State Security Service of The Republic of Azerbaijan” and even participated in the European Youth Chess Championship that took place in Bratislava. 

Fidan participated in multiple Model United Nations Conferences which took place in Rome, Chicago and New York. She has been awarded with certificates of academic excellence and for being the most dedicated to learning, as well as best in subject awards in English, Biology, Chemistry, Math, Science and Spanish. FIdan has won multiple awards at the world scholars cup: 4 gold medals, 3 silver medals, 3rd place in writing and 4th place in debating. She also was awarded first place and a gold medal in the Azerbaijan British College Science Fair.

She also enjoys growing her knowledge and real world experience by attending summer programs. Over the years, she attended the Carlsbad International Summer Camp, the Harvard Pre-College Summer Intensive Course: “Introduction to Psychology” and the Columbia Pre-College Summer Immersion Program: “Marketing - Communicating with the Consumers”.

Looking into the future, Fidan will be focused on creating a colorful and vibrant future for herself, including starting her own business, pursuing her singing and designing impactful marketing campaigns. Her goal is to attend prestigious universities such as Stanford and Penn/Wharton to better equip herself with the skills and network to achieve these outcomes.
