Founder,
Project ASC

Nathan, at just 16 years old, envisions a world where all voices are heard and all lives are equal. He is determined to make this vision a reality and is working tirelessly to ensure that all people have the opportunity to be respected. Nathan's journey began at the age of 12 when he visited Cambodia, and was deeply affected by the stark living conditions he encountered. These vivid images of socio-economic inequality left an indelible mark on him, inspiring a fervent desire to prevent such injustices around the world.

Nathan's commitment to his vision led him to initiate Project ASC, a three-year-long endeavor that he embarked on since the start of high school. The goal of this project is to empower youth by equipping them with the skills necessary for social-driven entrepreneurship and creating systemic change. Project ASC has garnered global recognition, earning Nathan features on various international websites. Moreover, Nathan has forged official partnerships with five prominent international organizations, including the United Nations.

Some of Nathan's notable accomplishments include being invited as a presenter and speaker at World Oceans Day in New York, where he lent his insights to address pressing global issues. He also serves as the Co-organizer and host of the Learning Planet Alliance, a global forum dedicated to advancing the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) through international conferences, closely aligned with the United Nations. Nathan has similarly made impactful contributions as a panelist at Catalyst 2030, where he discussed the significance of Project ASC in advancing the SDGs.

Global Goals Week, an annual week of action and awareness dedicated to the SDGs, provided Nathan with a platform to present the latest developments in his Project ASC and its pivotal role in amplifying youth voices on critical issues. Additionally, he curated the inaugural ESG School Symposium at the United Nations General Assembly (UNGA), earning recognition on the World Economic Forum website.  Nathan is interested in an integrated approach of business, innovation and social sciences, as he understands that a multi-interdisciplinary approach is required to deliver systemic change to global issues. He believes that by using the power of business to tackle social issues, he can make a lasting impact on the world. By utilizing the concept of “Business for a Bigger Purpose", he plans to use his knowledge of entrepreneurship and social innovation to drive change to create a more equitable and prosperous society.

Nathan's aspirations extend to studying at New York University, where he hopes to collaborate with peers from diverse backgrounds to further cultivate his intellectual curiosity and drive collective action towards socially innovative and entrepreneurial initiatives. He firmly believes in the power of business to address global issues and is committed to applying his knowledge to create a more equitable, sustainable, and prosperous society.
